Colmore Business District has partnered with Birmingham Opera Company to create a singing group for people who work in the District. The group includes accountants, lawyers, administrative assistants and property specialists. The original Colmore Chorus got together in the summer of 2011 to perform at ArtsFest, the city’s flagship arts event and triumphed in their debut performance at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.
Since this celebrated debut, Colmore Chorus has made special guest appearances at a variety of evenings including the 2011 Christmas Parade and the CBD Food Festival in 2012.

The Jewellery Quarter 24 Carrots Christmas Market (St Paul’s Square)
CBD Christmas with Moseley Arts Market (Birmingham Cathedral Grounds)
Ahead of performances, members meet up at lunchtimes and after work to rehearse and develop skills in vocal projection, stage presence and range whilst meeting others from the business community.
