Colmore Business District

Waterloo House, Waterloo Street, Birmingham B2 5TB

Ambassador Service

The Colmore Business District Ambassadors provide a friendly and welcoming presence in the District. The main duties of the Ambassadors are to greet and support business clients and visitors to the area; provide information and wayfinding assistance; report street defects and help keep the environment clean and tidy; as well as support the Colmore BID team with events and promotional activities. The Ambassadors are the Colmore BID team's eyes and ears on the streets of the District. They are equipped with digital devices to instantly report environmental issues and interactions with the public. The Ambassadors also work closely with PCSO John Shepherd, who works closely with the Colmore BID Office Team, and liaise with West Midlands Police on anti-social behaviour issues to help keep the District as safe as possible.

Police Community Support Officer in CBD

As part of our ongoing partnership with West Midlands Police, Colmore Business District has a PCSO assigned to assist us with our work. John Shepard joined Colmore Business District in 2015 and is becoming a regular face around the District. He works closely with our Ambassador Service
