Blockchain Discussion

24/04/18
9:00am - 10:30am
Trowers & Hamlins
10 Colmore Row
Birmingham, B3 2QD

As part of Trowers & Hamlins Thinking Business series - you are invited to attend a discussion hosted by an expert panel regarding Blockchain. Blockchain has been called the second generation of the internet - and is likely to have big implications on the way we do business and internet commerce.

The technology is still relatively new and we are only just beginning to recognise how it could potentially revolutionise financial systems, governments and businesses alike across sectors and geographies. As this so called "permissionless system" pushes back the technological frontiers we consider the practical and legal concerns this may bring and the implications for traditional methods of commerce such as the legal contract and the way we buy and sell products and services.

Speakers include Amardeep Gill, Partner, Mark Kenkre, Partner, Rick Robinson, Digital Property and Cities Leader, Adrian Burden, CTO BlockMark Technologies and Tom Alcott, Co-Founder and CEO of BlockMark Technologies.

Registration will open at 8:30am with the briefing running from 9am and closing at 10:30am.
