Birmingham, B3 2DL United Kingdom
Midlands businesses will have the opportunity to learn about the work of a national charity based in the District at a special summer reception hosted by Children’s Liver Disease Foundation on July 12.
The charity, which is based in Birmingham city centre, is the only one in the UK dedicated to fighting all childhood liver diseases. At the drinks reception on Cornerblock’s spectacular rooftop terrace, guests can find out about the charity’s work throughout the UK.
Chief Executive, Alison Taylor commented: “Most businesses in Birmingham do not realise there is a national charity on their doorstep which is having such an impact on so many lives. This is a chance for people to hear our story and find out how we make a difference to the many children and young people who live with incurable liver disease. We’re also hoping to meet local business people who might be interested in becoming a trustee of the charity. It’s a fantastic way of making a real difference to young people’s lives.
“The Cornerblock roof terrace is only available for selected events so we are very grateful to Bruntwood for allowing us this facility to meet members of Birmingham’s business community.”
Children’s Liver Disease Foundation’s summer reception will take place on Thursday July 12 4.30pm – 7.30pm at the Rooftop Garden, Cornerblock, 2 Cornwall Street, Birmingham B3 2DL.
