Hudson appoints Elizabeth Basten to lead its Birmingham practice

Global talent solutions business Hudson has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Basten as a UK Board Director. She will lead the teams focusing on marketing, digital and sales roles based in Birmingham.

With over 20 years’ experience in senior marketing and innovation roles, specialising in digital and cultural transformation consultancy, Elizabeth is a senior hire for Hudson with direct sector experience to support their strategy of enabling organisations to recruit the right skill set to fit with their client’s pace of digital transformation and business growth plans.

Elizabeth recently completed a masters degree in strategic marketing, with particular emphasis on digital marketing and the influence of marketing techniques on corporate culture to enhance business performance.

Elizabeth will be responsible for enhancing the client and candidate experience in the region, with focus on integrating Hudson’s recruitment and talent solutions, to offer a broader range of services to support Midlands employers.

Commenting on her appointment, Elizabeth said: “I chose this stage of my career to move to a new industry – one that is seeing the pace of change accelerate.
