Colmore Food Festival 2017

To celebrate the food and drink venues in the District, Colmore BID will host the seventh annual Colmore Food Festival on Friday 30th June and Saturday 1st July, where over 30 hospitality businesses will showcase what their venues have on offer to the thousands of visitors who attend the two day festival each year. You can view previous exhibitors here.

The Festival prides itself on its £4 sample taster dishes that allow you to try multiple dishes. Keep an eye on our Facebook Page and our dedicated festival website for more updates nearer the time.

Not only is there an array of food and drink on offer from venues in the District, but there will be Birmingham art on sale and street theatre to keep everyone entertained. This year also sees the return of our “Services to the City” Award winning compere and friend of the festival, Phil Oldershaw.

There will be two stages at the festival. One will be the kitchen demo stage, where chefs from our venues can show off their talents and flair. We will also be running a number of other food showcases and workshops on this stage. We are delighted to announce that Birmingham’s own Michelin Starred chef, Glynn Purnell will be returning to the Festival in 2017 to open the Proceedings and to cook on the demo stage.

The second stage is our music stage and will play host to bands and musicians from the West Midlands, ensuring a truly local festival. We’ve got covers, original, rock, pop, blues and jazz acts to play, ensuring there’s something for everyone. We’ll be announcing the line up for both stages via our Colmore Food Festival website and Facebook page.
