Advanced Services Programme   

This business support package is designed to help manufacturing and technology-innovating SMEs grow their revenues and improve their competitiveness. Transforming SMEs to Improve their Revenues through the Adoption of Advanced Services (TRAN-SIP). 

The programme is fully-subsidised for SMEs in the Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership region. The programme is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is delivered by the Advanced Services Group, at Aston Business School, Lloyds Bank plc and Trowers & Hamlins LLP.

Aston Professional Managers Award 

The programme gives you an understanding of the concepts and fundamental principles in key management disciplines- strategy, operations, finance, people management, project management and marketing – that you need to move forward in your career. Professional Mentoring Scheme 

The Professional Mentoring Scheme pairs business professionals with Second Year Aston University students to work one-to-one and help them gain an insight into professional life. 

Mentors help students to develop their knowledge and professional skills, which ensures that students begin their Placement Year with a solid foundation of knowledge.  We offer training and on-going support to everyone who joins the scheme. In addition to this, we seek to enhance the experience of everyone who is enrolled on the scheme by inviting them to additional events at Aston University.
