Midday Mile

Research shows that getting away from your desk and taking time away from the offices refreshes and refocuses the mind. Fresh air and physical activity also have a positive effect on our body and mind.

A study by Stanford University shows that walking improves creative thinking, allowing us to generate and execute more ideas. And that’s not all, your creative flow lasts for a short time after your walk too, so that stroll is well worth it.

So, why not join us on our weekly Midday Mile.

This is a mile long walk around the District or surrounding areas. There is no cost, just come along on Wednesday lunchtimes 12 noon to 20 Waterloo House (opposite Purecraft Bar) and we’ll start just after 12 to allow everyone to get to us from their office. Wear normal clothes but stable shoes. We walk for about 15 – 20 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to get some lunch too.
