Local Professionals Join Fundraising Lock-In at HM Prison Shrewsbury
19 May 2025
Two prominent figures from Birmingham’s Colmore Business District community are preparing to spend a night behind bars as part of a major charity fundraiser.
Nicola Fleet-Milne, Chair of the Colmore Business District Board, and Iliyana Deliradeva, Guest Relations Executive at F1 Arcade, are taking part in the Set Me Free 2 challenge — a fundraising event from Cash for Kids in association with LoveBrum. On Thursday 5 June, they’ll join 30 other “inmates” at the infamous and allegedly haunted HM Prison Shrewsbury for a 12-hour lock-in, all to raise money for vulnerable children and young people across the West Midlands.
The challenge requires participants to raise as much money as possible while behind bars. The more they raise, the more comfortable their stay — and the sooner they can secure their release.
All money raised will go to Cash for Kids, a charity supporting disadvantaged children across the region.
