Global real estate advisor, CBRE, is moving its Birmingham office to Three Chamberlain Square, Paradise Birmingham.
The firm has taken a ten-year lease on 16,500 sq ft on the first floor of the building. CBRE’s 150-plus staff will move in the new year, following a fit-out.

CBRE will be joining EY at the 189,000 sq ft, ten-storey building which reached practical completion at the end of May 2025 when the building was handed over by contractor Sir Robert McAlpine following a 24-month construction programme.
Designed by award-winning architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios (FCBS), Three Chamberlain Square is championing sustainability and innovation through the very latest design principles. The building is targeting and has secured BREEAM Outstanding and NABERS 5* ratings at design stage – making it one of the UK’s most sustainable and amenity-rich commercial buildings.

Will Ventham, Managing Director of CBRE’s Birmingham office, said: “The Midlands region plays a key role across the wider CBRE UK business. Our new Birmingham office will provide a best in class home, not just for our growing local team but increasingly for the firm’s global network.
“Our space requirements have grown, and Three Chamberlain Square will allow us to accommodate more people, attract and retain the best talent and introduce additional facilities, including a client-facing business lounge, bigger event spaces and wellbeing provision for staff.
“Three Chamberlain Square is Birmingham’s most sustainable office building and, as such, meets CBRE’s commitment to decarbonise its operations by 2040. The range of amenities at Paradise and the opportunity to join a community of like-minded, aspirational businesses proved irresistible.”
Ross Fittall, Commercial Development Director at Paradise asset manager and developer MEPC, said: “Welcoming CBRE to Three Chamberlain Square and Paradise is an important endorsement of the building’s credentials and the wider offering across the estate. Its corporate focus on ensuring a sustainable future and creating an inclusive and thriving culture for its people strongly reflects our ambitions for delivering the very best new workplaces that actively support the business aspirations of our occupiers.”
Three Chamberlain Square is engineered with game-changing sustainability measures already in place, including the low-carbon terracotta façade with 8,000 bespoke panels and 300 openable windows, all-electric infrastructure, and a SMART building design aimed at maximising occupant wellbeing. Overall, the building helps the Paradise estate set a new standard in the city for both globally conscious architecture and people-focussed workspace design.
It is a unique building in the city centre with a low carbon, natural design aesthetic and contemporary yet complementary look and feel to the environment in which it is located. Its accreditations underline this holistic commitment to futureproofing and sustainability and is a building that reflects wider commitments to a net zero future and will stand the test of time.
The Paradise redevelopment is being brought forward through Paradise Circus Limited Partnership (PCLP), a private-public joint venture with Birmingham City Council.
The private sector funding is being managed by the international business of Federated Hermes Private Markets, which has partnered with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) on the first phase of the development and for One Centenary Way. MEPC is the development and asset manager.
Paradise sits in the country’s largest city centre Enterprise Zone and has already benefited from investment in enabling and infrastructure works.
