Birmingham’s air pollution has been declared a public health risk and is thought to contribute to 900 deaths a year.
In June 2021, the city’s Clean Air Zone will come into force, seeing daily fees for high-polluting vehicles in the city centre, in an attempt to reduce traffic and tackle Birmingham’s growing air pollution problem.
But what is the Clean Air Zone and how exactly will it impact businesses and employees travelling in and out of the city?
Join Colmore BID and Birmingham City Council on Tuesday 19 January at 11.30am for an update on the latest regulations surrounding the Clean Air Zone. Topics covered will include how you can prepare your staff and business for when the changes come into effect, what financial support is available, and who is exempt from the new rulings.
