Wellbeing Fortnight – Importance of knowing when to switch off

6:00pm - 7:00pm

Martin's session will cover the story of how his stress and the long unsocial hours he was working resulted in him being diagnosed epileptic in 2006 and to then have a stroke seven years later in 2013.

He will be discussing the important of having a proper work-life balance, not working excessive hours, knowing when to switch off the laptop, phone, emails and your brain, as well as strategies for doing so.

It will also explain the workings of the brain 🧠 itself, looking at the different areas, explaining what they do and what they control and also looking at what happens when they go wrong.

There will be time at the end to ask Martin any questions.

This event is free but booking is essential. If you book and can no longer attend please release your ticket so someone else can attend. Location will be confirmed.
