We have developed a range of events and activity this year to help support our District members in the community to raise awareness of the different types of antisocial behaviour, and how they can detect it, support others and help our community become a safer place.

Stalking Seminar

Anyone can be a stalker – Anyone can be stalked.

Colmore BID and West Midlands Women in Transport has organised this Stalking Seminar on Monday 18 November to facilitate the conversations that matter to our local businesses and employees. Guest speakers will discuss their ongoing work to tackle stalking and harassment.

Safer Travel Pop Up

Colmore BID is hosting a special pop-up event to promote its projects and activities, in partnership with Paula Shortland, Education Officer, Safer Travel Policing Team at West Midlands Police.

The pop up will take place on Tuesday 19 November ‘Victims Day’ and will highlight innovative safety measures, offering information on new security features, safe travel routes, and services designed to protect commuters in Birmingham’s bustling Colmore Business District.

If you’d like to ‘pop’ along you will receive travel advice, and learn about the BID’s ongoing work to enhance the District’s environment, fostering a safer and more secure community for everyone.
