What’s Happening?

Bring your bike for a free health check! Expert mechanics will be on hand to carry out minor repairs, safety checks, and offer advice to keep you riding smoothly. - Bike Register with West Midlands Police.
Officers from West Midlands Police will be registering bikes on the BikeRegister, the UK’s national cycle database. Once registered, your bike will receive a unique QR code that helps reunite you with your bike if it’s ever lost or stolen. Bikes will be registered on a first come first served basis.
Why Register Your Bike?
- In 2023, 65 bike thefts were reported in just one city centre location.
- Very few bikes are returned due to lack of registration.
- Registration is free and helps police identify and return stolen bikes.
- You can update ownership details if you sell your bike.
