Goalkeeping legend to support Cure Leukaemia at Sporting Club Event in Birmingham
The Sporting Club will host a special evening of football nostalgia, laughter, and fundraising, all in support of Cure Leukaemia. This central Birmingham event will take place at the newly established Sporting Club venue in Birmingham, The Metro Club, and promises to be an unforgettable evening for all who attend.
Come and meet one of the most popular figures in British football, a man who played for Manchester United (where he won two League Cups), Watford, Birmingham (where he also won the League Cup), West Bromwich, famously at Wrexham and for England. Ben became a big part of the “This is Wrexham” story with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as he played a crucial role in their promotion into the football league. He now fronts up the hugely successful Fozcast podcast.
Attendees will have a great opportunity to network complete with drinks, and refreshments, plus the chance to connect with prominent business and sports personalities from across the region. Importantly, the event also serves a vital purpose: raising awareness and funds for Birmingham headquartered charity Cure Leukaemia, a key supporter of groundbreaking clinical trials for blood cancer treatment across the UK.
The Sporting Club, known for its exclusive membership and star-studded events, continues to grow across the UK. Its expansion into Birmingham marks a new chapter, offering a unique platform for professionals to engage, entertain, and support charitable initiatives in a dynamic setting.
Whether you’re a football aficionado, a business leader, or simply passionate about supporting vital medical research, this event offers the perfect combination of entertainment, networking, and philanthropy.
