On Thursday 23 October, The Good Intent in Birmingham hosts Let’s Talk Alcohol, a free community event encouraging open and honest conversations about alcohol, health, and wellbeing. This inclusive evening is designed to raise awareness, explore choices, and build support networks – not to judge or campaign against drinking.

The event runs from 16:30 to 21:00 at The Good Intent, 32-33 Great Western Arcade, Birmingham B2 5HU, and welcomes anyone interested in learning more about alcohol’s impact or supporting others in making informed choices.

Hosted by Simon Remington, who brings a powerful personal story of recovery following severe liver disease and a life-saving liver transplant, the evening is designed to inform, empower, and connect participants. Simon now works with the British Liver Trust, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and Alcohol Change UK to help others make healthier choices.
