BID3 consultation: Have your say on the future of the District

The Colmore BID team has started the consultation process to find out what we should prioritise for our third five-year term if the BID is successfully renewed by ballot later this year.
We take pride in our district being established as the commercial heart of Birmingham, with over 35,000 employees and over 5 million square feet of office space.
The BID was created in 2009 to generate a thriving, nationally-recognised business community around the Colmore Row area of Birmingham city centre with new projects, public realm creation, security and ambassadorial roles, and a programme of engaging events such as the annual Colmore Food Festival.
Now it’s time for you to have your say about the events, projects and investment you would like to see prioritised in future through the Consultation Document, which is being distributed now. Please take this opportunity to get involved.
We are also hosting informal workshops to refine the ideas and proposals we are putting forward to form a Business Plan and in October 2018, we will be asking businesses to vote ‘yes’ for a third term.
We will be hosting two events for District workers to find out more about BID3: A breakfast event on Tuesday, May 22, at Opus Cornwall Street between 7.30am-9am, and at Bar Opus on Wednesday, May 23, 5.30pm-7pm.
