CBD Food Festival 2014
Returning for its fourth year in 2014, the CBD Food Festival showcased the fantastic food and drink offering in Birmingham’s business quarter, Colmore Business District.
Taking place on 18th and 19th July in Victoria Square, approximately 26,000 people visited the event to sample fantastic food and drink from 24 venues in the district.
Visitors were also able to watch live cooking demonstrations from chefs, including Glynn Purnell and David Colcombe, who were joined on stage by food critics Paul Fulford and Richard McComb on Friday, and James and Oliver Phelps, who starred as the Weasley twins in the Harry Potter movies, on the Saturday.
As part of our Chefs’ Stage, we recorded a series of live cooking demonstrations. You can see those demonstrations in the videos below, which include the ingredients and method, so that people can try the recipes themselves.
