CBRE has appointed two new directors within its capital markets and industrial and logistics teams in Birmingham.
Ben Wisher joins the global property consultancy as senior director from Knight Frank, where he was a partner in the capital markets team, while Tesni Thacker has joined from Avison Young as a director in industrial and logistics.
Ben has 15 years’ experience as a surveyor, working in various agency roles for companies including Rigby & Co and Barwood Developments, before joining Knight Frank in 2012.
During his career, Ben has advised on a number of high-profile deals, including the £46.95 million sale of Broadway Plaza on behalf of Aviva Investors, the acquisition of the Arup campus at Blythe Valley Park and the Beiersdorf headquarters on Trinity Park.
Tesni joined Avison Young in 2002, specialising in industrial and logistics. During her career, Tesni has acted on behalf of developers, funds and corporate occupier clients across the Midlands region.
In addition to Ben and Tesni, CBRE has appointed Daniel White as head of flexible workspace for the Midlands and South.
Daniel will be responsible for advising occupiers, investors and operators on their flexible office leasing and acquisition strategies, working alongside CBRE’s dedicated flexible office advisors in Central London and other UK regions.
Will Ventham, head of CBRE’s Birmingham office, said: “Ben and Tesni’s appointments add strength and depth to our already well-established capital markets and industrial and logistics teams and form part of our wider strategy of building market leading teams in the Midlands, with unrivalled knowledge and experience to help clients capitalise on the opportunities within the real estate sector.
“Having Dan on board, with his experience and expertise in the flex office sector, adds another string to our bow, amplifying our existing capability and building upon our full service offering to both investor and occupier clients across the Midlands and South.”
