Cubo Birmingham Reaches Full Occupancy And Plans Expansion In The City
20 January 2023
Cubo, one of the UK’s fastest growing provincial serviced office operators, has announced that its flex office space in Birmingham has reached 100% occupancy less than six months after opening – and there are now plans to expand in the city.
The flex office space at Two Chamberlain Square, Paradise Birmingham has become the quickest Cubo to reach full capacity. As a result, there are now plans to take another floor of the building, which will allow more businesses to be based at this prestigious address.
The 24,000 sq. ft workspace opened in Summer 2022 and its arrival brought a different kind of flexible and co-working provider to an increasingly competitive market in the city.
Occupancy levels at Cubo Birmingham have exceeded all expectations, with regional, national and global businesses taking advantage of the building’s strategic location and Cubo’s unique offering.
High profile businesses who now call Cubo Birmingham home now include accountancy firm Cooper Parry; marketing specialists M3 Agency; recruitment consultants Skilled Careers; Cartwright Communications and Solos Travel.
Strategically located close to Birmingham city centre, Two Chamberlain Square provides some of the best views in Birmingham with stunning vistas across the city’s impressive Classical and Victorian civic architecture.
Cubo was launched in 2020 and is rapidly establishing itself as the leading provider of high-end flex office and co-working space in the Midlands and Yorkshire, with a presence in Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Leeds and Sheffield.
The company, which was launched by property investors Marc and Rebecca Brough, is transforming the traditional serviced office model to enable increasingly intuitive ways of working.
It provides an experience-led lifestyle offer to meet the changing needs of businesses – from hot desking to a designated desk, private office, or entire floor.
Member benefits include large communal spaces, private areas, break-out spaces, kitchens, an inclusive barista service with beer on tap, along with a programme of free networking events.
As a result, Cubo is rapidly becoming the location of choice for SMEs, tech companies and corporates looking for a world class environment where they can develop and thrive and is attracting an enticing mix of businesses.
Commenting on Cubo Birmingham’s success, Marc Brough, CEO at Cubo, said:
“Location, great space to work from and flexibility are the main drivers for ambitious businesses. Two Chamberlain Square is a fantastic building, which is an integral part of the city’s premier civic square. Cubo Birmingham provides Grade A office space and a range of unique services, so we’re not surprised to have reached full occupancy so quicky.
“Cubo has quickly become an established part of the city’s business community and we look forward to expanding our presence here in the coming months.”At almost two million square feet, Paradise Birmingham will feature up to ten new flagship buildings, with offices, shops, bars, cafés, restaurants, a high-quality hotel and Octagon, the world-first 49 storey pure octagonal residential tower, across 17 acres in the heart of the city.
