Richborough Promotes Richard Lomas

Richborough, the leading land promoter has promoted Richard Lomas to Group Planning Director.
A new role for the business, this is indicative of the national firms’ growth and diversification following the 2022 investment from Terra Firma.
Richard will be responsible for internal group planning, establishing best practice for the firm and overseeing the coordination of relevant data for group functions.
He also continues to oversee planning activity for Richborough’s Central and South East regions – which together have a portfolio of nearly 60 contracted sites with the potential to deliver over 12,000 essential new homes.

Richard has been part of the Richborough family now for nearly three years and prior to that he acted as external planning consultant to the business and so I have known him for many years. In that time, he’s always had conviction in giving advice on sites and devises forward thinking strategies in an ever-changing planning environment.

Terra Firma’s 2022 investment was part of the Principal Capital Group, supported by Partners Group and the Hands Family Office.
