At the heart of Birmingham, First Class Foundation is creating real, lasting change by connecting young people from underserved communities to purpose, opportunity and hope.
The team work across the city and beyond, tackling some of society’s most urgent challenges such as youth violence, social disconnection, and limited access to education and employment by investing in young people’s leadership, creativity, and wellbeing.
Through mentoring, outreach, school and prison based programmes, and large-scale community events, First Class Foundation have impacted thousands of lives. They specialise in engaging young people aged 13 to 25, particularly those from Black and Global Majority communities, helping them find their voice, discover their strengths, and build a first class future.
What They Do
- Young Leaders Academy: Equipping young people with confidence, leadership skills, and purpose-driven mindsets.
- Outreach and Violence Reduction: Working in schools and communities to prevent crime and guide at-risk youth towards positive pathways.
- Education and Enterprise: Running workshops and programmes that develop digital skills, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
- Community Events: Hosting inclusive events that bring people together, celebrate youth achievement, and promote unity.
