Matt Dugdale promoted to Planning Director at Richborough Commercial

Prominent town planner Matt Dugdale BA (Hons) MCD MRTPI FRGS has been promoted to Planning Director at specialist commercial land promotion company Richborough Commercial based in Colmore Business District.
This senior position sees Matt solely focused on Richborough Commercial’s planning strategies, applications and appeals, while supporting the firm’s rapid growth in the industrial and logistics sector.
Matt also has key roles on various industry committees and bodies. Having just completed his tenure as 2024 Chair of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) North West, he has been elected onto the RTPI General Assembly for 2025/26 and joins the University of Liverpool’s RTPI Partnership Board. He also represents Richborough Commercial on the British Property Federation’s (BPF) Industrial Committee.
Richborough Commercial launched in 2023 to help answer the shortage of high-quality land for Industrial & Logistics and other commercial uses in areas of identified need, while delivering maximum value for landowners and stakeholders. It now has more than 15 million sq. ft of floorspace contracted across England, and another 8 million sq. ft in the pipeline.
