Beginners Bodyweight Training – Welcome to Birmingham
Colmore Business District have teamed up with PUREGYM for Welcome to Birmingham!
This is a feel good session introducing you to the world of Bodyweight training in the comfort of your own home (or office).
We recognise the important of looking after mental health and we know that exercise can support improving mental health by reducing the impact on different conditions such as anxiety and depression along with improving self-esteem and cognitive function.
This session wil be 45 minutes long, providing enough rest if required between exercises!
Bodyweight training involves undertaking a series of strength training exercises using only your own body weight as resistance against gravity. This means there’s no need for weights or machines, just your own body… and gravity of course!
We advise people to wear comfortable clothing that they can bend and workout in, ideally either joggers or leggings with some trainers.
