Community Litter Pick
Over the years Colmore BID has organised many community litter picks, with both businesses and residents getting involved. Not only do they help keep the District looking spick and span, but they also bring people together, further strengthening the area’s community spirit.
After a short break, due to the Covid pandemic, our Community Litter Picks are back for 2022 and we’re looking for volunteers who can give up an hour or more to lend a hand.
Our first Community Litter Pick will take place on Tuesday 5 April. There will be two time slots available; 12-1pm and 2-3pm.
We’ll meet at the entrance of Birmingham Cathedral on Colmore Row, where volunteers will be split into teams and designated an area to litter pick. Hi-vis vests, litter pickers, bags and gloves will all be provided on the day.
