Welcome to Birmingham

Over the last two years we have been privileged to welcome new talent into Birmingham city centre, many of which will have joined their new roles during the Covid-19 pandemic and as a result were likely working from home.

After speaking with a number of partners and businesses we realised something needed to be done to support and welcome new professionals in the city. This could be to learn new skills, understand the benefits of networking or to meet up with like-minded individuals to create a social network.

This is why we have launched Welcome to Birmingham, 15 events across a week to welcome you to the city, offering you an opportunity to learn new skills, see new places and meet new people.

This event is your chance to learn what Birmingham really has to offer. “Forward” is the motto of Birmingham.  2022 has been a phenomenal year for the city, with visible successes such as the Commonwealth Games galvanising the city, however, there is plenty more to do.   Join us to hear from our Chair, Nicola Fleet-Milne, CEO of Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, Henrietta Brealey and Chief Executive of Birmingham City Council, Deborah Cadman about the strong future Birmingham is developing following 12 remarkable months.    

This session is a must attend for anyone new to the city’s Professional Services Sector. Light refreshments will be provided.
