Workshop: Supporting survivors of sexual violence, abuse and harassment in your workplace
The workshop will be an overview of issues related to sexual violence, abuse and harassment in the workplace and information on supporting staff subjected the sexual violence, abuse, and/or harassment (within and outside of the workplace). We recommend management level staff to attend.
The workshop will be an interactive 1 hour session followed with 30 minutes Q&A open to business within the Colmore Business Improvement District. To be hosted by Colmore BID and run by RSVP’s Head of Fundraising and Development.
Workshop Aims:
1. To define and understand the prevalence of sexual violence, abuse and harassment
2. To understand the personal, emotional, and socio-economic impact of sexual violence, abuse and harassment
3. To understand employers responsibilities and how best to support staff who have been subjected to sexual violence, abuse, and/or harassment in the workplace
4. To understand how best to support staff who have been subjected to sexual violence, abuse, and/or harassment outside the workplace.
