ModeSHIFT STARS

Modeshift STARS is the Centre of Excellence for the delivery of Effective Travel Plans in Education, Business and Community settings. The scheme recognises schools, businesses and other organisations that have shown excellence in supporting cycling, walking and other forms of sustainable and active travel.

The programme features an online portal to develop, track and monitor your Travel Plan. The Travel Plans can be accredited from ‘green’ up to ‘platinum’ based on completing actions and creating modal shift of staff travel towards more sustainable modes.

ModeShift is a quick and easy way to complete travel plans, it is an easy to use ‘live’ portal and the accreditations can be used as evidence towards your NET ZERO, environmental or sustainability targets. 

By completing the actions in the travel plans business and education sites can become accredited from green up to platinum status.  

The travel planning support will support business and education sites participating in the Active Travel Fund to access and utilise Modeshift.
