School Uniform Donations

Colmore Business District falls into the Ladywood Ward, one of the most deprived wards in the country. We work closely with St John’s & St Peters C of E School in Ladywood to give back to the local community.

On average it costs a family £90 to provide a new uniform for each child, not including bags or PE Kits.

As a District we would love to be able to support St John’s & St Peters C of E in clothing as many children as possible before the return to school in September. As the time approaches for our District parents to purchase new uniform for the school year ahead, please consider donating your unwanted uniform to Colmore BID.

Children are currently in need of school uniform, whether new or used your donations would be appreciated.

What is needed?

  • Grey or Black school trousers/skirt/shorts
  • White polo t-shirt
  • White shirt
  • Dark blue jumper
  • Black PE jogging bottoms or shorts

If you can help us – you can donate in the either of the following ways:

  • Drop them off at our offices – we’re at Christchurch House, 30 Waterloo Street, Birmingham (above Purecraft Bar and Kitchen).
  • We’ll collect from your office! Just let us know a time and place!

We are collecting all donations until Friday 16 Aug 2024.

If you’re unable to donate clothing items but would still like to help, we are also collecting donations for school bags, vests and pants for the children.

You or your company can make a donation of any amount, starting at £5.

If you require any further info, or wish to arrange a uniform collection or monetary donation please contact kelsey.dwyer@colmorebid.co.uk.
