The Place Marketing and Hospitality Working Group focuses on strengthening the brand of Colmore BID, while partnering and delivering projects and events to increase dwell time and spend within local businesses.

The group works to promote the brand both internally amongst levy payers, but also outwardly, attracting visitors to the District. This is accomplished through a variety of means including the BID’s Colmore Life magazine, as well as a robust programme of events that contribute to the vibrancy of the area. One of its biggest projects is Colmore Food Festival, Birmingham’s largest food festival, which celebrated its 10th year in 2020 and regularly attracts over 30,000 visitors during the event.
