Enjoy An Unforgettable Mothers Day In The Sky At Orelle!

Mum’s the word at Orelle, as the Birmingham-based French-inspired restaurant and café launch two exclusive Mother’s Day menus, giving guests the opportunity to treat the special women in their lives to a show-stopping dining experience.

On Sunday 19th March, set against the backdrop of 360-degree panoramic views of the city skyline, guests will be able to enjoy a curated menu created by Executive Chef, Chris Emery, showcasing his signature take on modern-French cuisine. The menu will offer three mouth-watering courses for £60 per person, including the option to include the indulgent Caviar de Londres, a premium delicacy served in a classic way on buckwheat bilini with egg, crème fraiche, capers and shallot.

Available between 1pm – 4.30pm at the 24th floor restaurant, the limited-edition menu features a variety of spectacular dishes, including Wye Valley Apsperges (v), Saint-Jacques, roast Orkney scallop, Anguille Fummèe, a smoked eel speciality, Surlonge de Cumbrie Veillie 38 Jours, a 38-day aged Cumbrian sirloin and also Poulet Goosenargh, a whole Goosenargh Chicken to share between two. To end the meal, guests have the choice of a dessert from the decadent Dessert Trolley or can opt to finish on a savoury note with Fromage, a selection of British and French cheese, served with oat crackers and preserves.

Alongside the main menu, an extensive drinks list is available throughout the day and features wines from across the globe, curated by Orelle’s expert sommelier, in addition to signature cocktails and mocktails that have been exclusively designed by the talented Bar Manager, Tiago Bastos. Champagne and English Sparkling Wine are also available to enjoy by the glass, the perfect excuse to start the day by toasting with a glass of something special.

For those looking to enjoy something a little more relaxed, Orelle is also launching a special Afternoon Tea at the Orelle Café on Mother’s Day. 

Priced at £40 per person, guests can enjoy a selection of open Sandwiches, Plain and Fruit Scones with Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream, or a selection of sweet treats such as Pistachio Macaroon, Chocolate and Frangipan Tart, Starberry Mousse and Blackberry Delice, all served with the choice of tea and a glass of sparkling Rosé.  

All bookings for Afternoon Tea can be made via OpenTable and guests have the option to choose between three sittings, 12.30pm – 2.30pm, 2.30pm– 4.30pm and 4.30pm – 6.30pm.
