Colmore BID Expands Street Cleaning Services with New Team Member

As part of our commitment to keeping Colmore Business District clean and welcoming, Colmore BID is excited to announce that we’ve added a second full-time cleaner to our team. Working Monday through Friday, our cleaners will be supporting the already great work provided by Birmingham City Council, ensuring that the entire district remains a vibrant and pleasant place for all.

Our cleaner takes care of general litter picking alongside removing graffiti and needles from both public and private spaces. If you spot any environmental issues around your business or need additional cleaning support in the Colmore Business District, you can easily reach out through our Duty Phone at 07572 257 246 between the hours of 07:00 and 18:30 Monday – Friday.

This new addition is part of the wider work done by our Community Operations Team, which includes patrolling Community Officers, a Community Liaison Executive, and our Street Cleaning Operative. Together, we work closely with partners like West Midlands Police and Birmingham City Council to tackle not only cleanliness but also crime and anti-social behaviour.
