Competition Terms and Conditions: Colmore BID Easter Treasure Hunt

1. Eligibility: The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Employees and Board Directors of Colmore BID, participating venues, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. 

2. How to Enter: Clues to prize locations will be posted on Colmore BID’s social media channels. Participants must follow the clues to find the hidden prizes in the Colmore Business District. 

3. Prizes & Availability: Prizes may include chocolate eggs or giveaways from local bars, restaurants, and venues. Prizes are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Some locations will have a main prize for the first person/team to arrive, along with smaller prizes for subsequent finders. However, the number of prizes is limited. Once all prizes at a location have been claimed, we will do our best to communicate this on our social media channels.  Please note, prizes are not transferrable, and a prize from one location cannot be swapped with another.  Prizes comprising of food may contain allergens.  Please ensure you check with the venue or any packaging before consumption.   

4. Time Restriction: The competition runs for a set period of one hour from the first clue being posted. Any prizes found outside of this time frame will not be valid. 

5. Winner Selection & Notification: The first person/team to locate a hidden prize and follow the instructions provided (e.g., presenting the prize at a specified location) will be the winner of that prize.  

6. Venue Responsibility: If a prize is provided by a venue, that venue assumes responsibility for all further communication and prize redemption. Colmore BID is not responsible for the fulfilment, terms, or conditions of prizes issued by third-party venues. Any issues regarding prize redemption should be directed to the venue. 

7. Fair Play: Participants must not remove, hide, or relocate prizes intended for other players. Any attempt to manipulate or unfairly influence the competition may result in disqualification. 

8. Data Protection: By participating, winners agree to their name and/or photo being used in Colmore BID’s social media posts announcing prize winners. Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and our privacy policy, available at https://colmorebusinessdistrict.com/privacy-policy/  

9. Liability: Participants take part at their own risk. Colmore BID is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur while searching for prizes. Participants should remain mindful of their surroundings and adhere to all local laws and safety regulations. 

10. Organiser Rights: Colmore BID reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
