Birmingham’s New Solar Energy Project – Information Session
2025 marks a major milestone for Birmingham’s energy future, with the launch of an exciting new solar project.
Levy-paying businesses and landlords across Colmore Business District are invited to discover how rising electricity costs and the drive towards net zero targets present an opportunity to benefit from locally generated, low-carbon energy.
In partnership with ConsensusPower, Colmore BID and its neighbouring districts have established a Local Energy Community, designed to provide businesses with access to lower-cost, sustainable energy generated right here in Birmingham.
An introductory session will take place on Tuesday 14 May, from 12.30 to 13.30, offering attendees the chance to find out more about the project, ask questions, and explore how they can get involved – all over a complimentary lunch.
