M3.agency toasts Birmingham life as second city office passes £2m revenue target
10 February 2025
2025 is set to be an exciting twelve months for M3.agency, as it starts its sixth year in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District.
The fully integrated marketing agency has experienced significant growth since it launched its office in the second city, with annual revenues now touching £2m and exciting digital, creative and TV projects delivered for MG Motor UK, Poms and Davisons Law.
Demand for its services has seen it move into high profile accommodation at Cubo in Chamberlain Square, with recent recruitment taking its headcount in Colmore Business District to 20, mirroring its sister hub in Albrighton, Shropshire.
For Andrew Cove, Digital Marketing Director at M3.agency, putting down roots in Birmingham has been fundamental in the business growing 20% year-on-year.
“The city has a strong reputation for attracting some of the best digital talent in the UK and we’ve certainly benefitted from this, taking on five key hires alone in the last twelve months.
“Investment in talent and putting our own stamp on our offices is paying off with a string of new contracts in place and ready to get underway as we enter 2025. These range from an exciting tourism win to important digital positioning for a global AI brand.”
Cove, who has been in digital marketing for 15 years, is passionate about nurturing Birmingham’s digital community and believes there’s still plenty of work to be done.
“I don’t think we shout enough about what we do here, and this is something we want to change. We’re keen to work with other agencies to promote everything that Birmingham has to offer – it’s time to stop hiding our light and letting Manchester and Leeds try to rival London.”
He went on to add: “The one area I’m really keen to push is making sure our graduates are leaving workplace ready, giving them ‘on the tools’ skills to go with the theory they are learning at university.
“This isn’t an empty promise either. We’ve already teamed up with the University of Birmingham to give their Masters Graduates the chance to work on real world briefs, a critical opportunity that will help their career development whilst ensuring agencies like ours have immediate access to skills that make a real difference.”
M3.agency offers brand development, creative, digital marketing, media planning and web development services to a host of clients including Aston Villa FC, West Midlands Safari Park and UoB Sport and Fitness.
It’s Colmore Business District based team specialises in SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social and Content Marketing, which together make up some of the fastest growing services in the business.
Nick Lovett, Managing Director, concluded: “Opening and expanding our presence in Birmingham was the next step in our long-term strategy and we’re delighted with how things have gone to date.
“We are now viewed as one of the leading independent marketing firms in the city and are attracting some of the best creative and digital minds in our sector. We successfully passed our 5-year target for the office, but this is just the start – there’s plenty more to come from M3.agency and we’re actively still recruiting.”
