Ladywood Community Support
Colmore Business District falls into the Ladywood Ward, one of the most deprived wards in the country. We always feel we should be doing more to support this community where possible. This activity forms part of Colmore BID’s Community Building Working Group.
Colmore BID have been working in partnership with the following organisations in Ladywood for several years.

Funding Request
We are reaching out to businesses that offer any funding opportunities or grants that we can apply for on behalf of the charities we work with in Ladywood. Please find more information here.
Volunteer
Ladywood Community Project are looking for volunteers to support their 2024 Christmas grotto experience.
This experience is for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The volunteers will be Santa’s helpers, directing families and supporting the overall experience
Dates: 17, 18 and 19 December from 15:30 – 18:00.

Supporting our Neighbours is our latest exciting community event at St John’s & St Peters C of E School!
We are thrilled to be hosting a special event for the students and families of St John’s & St Peters C of E School! With the support of our incredible partners at Thomas Franks, we will be providing delicious meals for 100 individuals as we come together for an unforgettable day of fun and connection.
We are providing:
- Free Meals for 100 Guests: Thanks to Thomas Franks, everyone will enjoy a tasty, nutritious meal.
- Crafts and Games: Getting creative with engaging craft stations and enjoy fun games for all ages.
- Face Painting: Add a splash of color to the children’s day with exciting face painting designs.
