Mike is an executive director for Turley, a national planning consultancy with offices in 10 cities across the UK. He ran their Birmingham office for 11 years and now chairs the company’s leadership team.
He has worked in Birmingham city centre for 20 years and joined the BID board in 2009, firstly as Public Realm Champion and now as chair of the Place Marketing group which is responsible for the Colmore Food Festival.
Away from work, he lectures at the University of Birmingham Planning School and sits on the RTPI Partnership Board which oversees the course. Mike lives in Dorridge and is married with two children.
